About this car
1961 Volkswagen Beetle listed on Cars & Bids in Los Angeles, California. Bid to $29,450 — reserve not met, auction ended December 30, 2025.
What the photos show
- Deep green paint is glossy and even from every angle — front, both sides and rear — panels straight and gaps even — no paint or body budget from these photos.
- Chrome bumpers with overriders, headlight rings and hubcaps are mirror-bright front and rear — no re-chrome money.
- Blackwall tires show good tread on black steel wheels with chrome caps — no tire spend visible.
- Tan leather-look seats front and rear are smooth and uncreased, door cards and carpets clean, dash painted body colour with clear gauges — no interior trim budget from these photos.
- Footwell carpet and pedals look tidy in close-up; the extra gauges and speakers are neat additions, not damage — no spend shown there.
- No engine bay or underside photos in the sample — can't judge either, hold back money for that inspection.
Money: at $29,450 the paint, chrome and interior all back the ask in the photos; the engine bay and underside are the must-see items the sample doesn't show.
