About this car
This Dark Olive over Cognac 3.5 sunroof coupe was held by one owner for 38 years. Long single ownership is exactly the kind of history the market for these V8 coupes pays for, and the color combination is correct for the period. The listing states no mileage, so the ownership story and the car's condition have to support the $89,950 price. Ask for whatever records those 38 years produced.
What the photos show
- the dark green paint is rich and glossy with bright chrome all round, no exterior cosmetic spend needed
- the tan leather seats, front and rear, look plump, smooth and nearly new, no retrim bill
- the wood-rim wheel, dash wood and door cards all present beautifully, no interior woodwork money due
- the trunk is clean black with a tidy spare, no trunk restoration on sight
- the V8 engine bay is clean, black and orderly, detailed enough that a service, not a cleanup, is the spend
- the underside shots show clean black floors and a tidy exhaust, no rust repairs visible from below
- the spare is a plain black steel wheel, a small deduction next to the polished presentation elsewhere
Money: at $89,950 this 3.5 coupe (BHCC stock #19945) looks done everywhere the photos reach — paint, leather, bay and underside — so the price is defensible without a restoration fund on top.
