Delivered new to Pink Floyd co-founder Roger Waters and documented by its original BMW Motorsport invoice, the car was completed in March 1979 in Blau (BMW code 207 — one of about 59 M1s in the color), collected by Waters in Germany and imported to the United Kingdom in April 1980.
