About this car
This 1963 Unimog is offered on eBay by militarycollectiongg in Grand Gorge, NY. The asking price is $7,000. The car is finished in Orange. The odometer shows 35,000 miles.
What the photos show
- this is a derelict fire-truck-bodied Unimog, rusted on every panel, so paint and body money is total, not partial
- headlights and windscreen are missing, budget glass and lamp money before anything else
- the cab interior is stripped with the seats out and floors rotted, full interior money needed
- can't judge the engine - no clear engine photo in the set, so engine money is a complete unknown
- every photo shows the same decayed truck, no part of it looks usable as-is
Money: at $7,000 you are buying a restoration core or parts - the rebuild will cost many times the price, so it only works as a project.
