About this car
This 1976 450SL is offered on eBay by monzacar in Sherman Oaks, CA. It is listed at auction: the current bid stood at $1 when the listing was collected on November 3, 2026, with bidding scheduled to end on November 8, 2026. The car is finished in Tan over Tan, an automatic gearbox. The odometer shows 104,664 miles. On an R107, check the front subframe mounts and the soft-top well for rust, and on the V8 cars the timing-chain guides.
What the photos show
- pale yellow paint is glossy and even with matching painted hubcaps, no paint bill showing
- chrome grille and bumpers are bright, no re-chrome money needed
- tan seats look excellent front and back with no splits or wear-through, no need to reupholster
- dash and gauges are clean and clear, odometer reads about 104,600, no dash money needed
- engine bay is complete and tidy, but there is brown rust staining at the firewall and inner wing, check that before paying top money
- paint is blistered next to the door-jamb sticker, a small local repair before it spreads
- the hardtop is shown fitted and clean, but the soft top is never shown, so the soft top can't be judged
- no underside photo is in the sampled set, so the underside can't be judged
Money: a handsome yellow 450SL with a near-perfect interior, priced at $1 in the data, which is a placeholder and not an ask, so the firewall staining and unseen underside and soft top are what to price once a real figure appears.
