About this car
1957 Porsche 356A Coupe listed on eBay in Astoria, NY. Listing shows Blue exterior. Asking price $89,500 on eBay.
What the photos show
- Blue paint looks glossy and straight in the street photos — no respray bill is obvious in the seven views.
- Tan leather seats look smooth and clean, dash and door cards tidy — no retrim money needed on this evidence.
- Engine bay looks honest and orderly, fan housing and fittings aged but clean — no obvious bay neglect to pay for.
- Chrome bumpers and hubcaps shine in the exterior shots — brightwork looks already sorted.
- Can't judge the underside — no photo shows it, and on a 356 the floor is where the big bills live.
Money: At $89,500 the car looks like a tidy driver-grade 356A; the unseen floor is the one check that decides if that is a bargain or a trap.
