About this car
1958 Porsche 356A Coupe listed on eBay in Astoria, NY. Listing shows Grey exterior. Asking price $89,500 on eBay.
What the photos show
- Silver-grey paint is glossy and even on every panel in the outdoor views, gaps look straight — no paint budget from these photos.
- Chrome bumpers, overriders and hubcaps are bright with no pitting showing — no re-chrome money needed.
- Black leather seats look clean and tight in the cabin photo, carpets and mats tidy — no retrim money needed.
- Black dash, green-faced gauges and white wheel look clean and bright — no dash budget from these photos.
- Engine bay is complete and runs to aftermarket air filters, with speckled overspray-like spots on the engine tin — budget a bay detail and note the filters against originality.
- Only 8 photos in the gallery and none underneath — can't judge the underside, hold back serious money for a lift inspection, where 356 money is won or lost.
Money: At $89,500 the paint, chrome and cabin need no big money in these photos, but budget for an engine-bay detail and hold back money until the unseen underside is inspected.
