Most of these cars have been molested and modified.....poorly. This unit is refreshingly honest. It needs work to the passenger side rocker and the typical suspension pan but has perfect floors and rear suspension. The motor number is correct for a Karmann bodied 67 and presumed to be original. |

What the photos show
- Only five of this car's photos could be viewed, but they cover the body, cabin, engine and underside — enough to show this is a long-stored project car, from these photos.
- The brown paint is flat, faded and dusty over every panel, though the body looks straight and the chrome bumper and headlight rings survive — budget for full paint preparation, not a polish, from these photos.
- The interior is complete but derelict: rear seats faded with split stitching, carpets stained and seat belts loose on the floor — budget for a full interior restoration, not a clean, from these photos.
- The dash itself is a bright spot: the leather top is intact, the brushed panel carries its 912 script and a period radio — budget for careful preservation there, not replacement, from these photos.
- The engine is all there but crusted with rust on the air filters and tinware, clearly long unrun — budget for a full engine recommissioning at minimum, from these photos.
- The low underside view shows a grubby, surface-rusted floor and suspension — budget for a proper lift inspection to separate surface rust from structural work, from these photos.
Money: restoration money across the board — paint, interior, engine recommissioning and a rust survey — this is a project purchase, not a driver.
