1975 Porsche 911S

• The silver paint is dull and uneven, with the wide riveted arches and whale tail in a primer-like finish and rust spots showing at panel edges, so bodywork and paint are the first big bill.
• The wide-arch and tail conversion is plainly non-standard for the year, so value it as a modified car, not an original — that distinction is most of the money here.
• Cloth-and-vinyl seats front and rear actually look tidy and complete, so the cabin is the one area not demanding immediate spend.
• The dash looks complete and the speedometer reads 21,990 in the close-up, though whether that is the car's true total can't be told from a photo.
• The front trunk floor around the spare and battery looks rusty and grubby, so metal attention is needed up front as well.
• The engine bay is complete but shows rust breaking through along the rear panel and aged components, so budget bay metalwork and a recommissioning.
• Lift photos show the underside honestly: floor pans carry rust patches and corrosion, and the exhaust is heavily rusted, so floor repairs belong in the budget, not just a clean.

Money: at $39,950 the photos show a modified, rusty project with a decent cabin — the ask is project money, and floors, trunk and paint will each take real spending before it is a finished car.
