About this car
1986 Porsche 944 turbo (951) listed on eBay in La Jolla, CA. Listing shows 33,800 miles shown, Manual transmission, Red exterior. Asking price $74,895 on eBay.
What the photos show
- Red paint is glossy in the driveway photos, panels line up straight and the rear PORSCHE light panel and spoiler look clean — no paint or body budget from these photos.
- Silver phone-dial wheels are clean in the front view, tires showing tread — no wheel budget from these photos.
- Underside of the bonnet is dull, faded and marked in its photo, a contrast with the glossy topside — budget for a bonnet-underside tidy/detail from these photos.
- Black leather seats and door card are clean with only light creasing in the interior photos, PORSCHE floor mats tidy — budget for leather treatment, not a retrim from these photos.
- Low rear photo shows a large exhaust tailpipe and dirty underbody parts behind the bumper — budget for an underside clean and inspection from these photos.
- No proper engine bay photo in the sample — the bonnet is shown open from the front only, so the engine and its belts cannot be judged from these photos at all.
- Final sample photo is a set of keys and a key-head packet on a table — not a condition view of the car.
Money: Paint, wheels and leather need only treatment money in these photos — hold money for the dull bonnet underside, the dirty rear underbody, and a full engine inspection the photos never show.
