About this car
1989 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Coupe listed on eBay in Orange, CA. Listing shows 158,684 miles shown, Manual 5-Speed transmission, Gray exterior. Asking price $119,900 on eBay.
What the photos show
- The grey paint looks clean and glossy with straight panels from every angle, so no paintwork spend is visible.
- Cream leather seats front and rear look clean and well shaped with only light use showing, so no retrim bill is suggested.
- The dash looks clean and uncracked, and the gauge close-up is legible, so no dash restoration is needed on the evidence.
- That gauge close-up reads 158,684 miles, high mileage that is plain in the photos and should be priced in, not discovered later.
- The engine bay looks tidy and complete in the two bay shots, with no obvious mess or missing parts, so no bay clean-up bill is shown.
- Books and paperwork are photographed laid out with the car, a completeness point that saves chasing records.
- Cup wheels look clean with no kerb damage visible, so no wheel refurbishment is needed.
- Can't judge the underside — no lift photo is shown, so underbody condition is unproven.
Money: at $119,900 the car presents honestly — tidy bay, good cream trim, books shown — but the photographed 158,684 miles is the big number here, so the ask only works if that mileage is already reflected in the price.
