About this car
1998 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet listed on eBay in Rockville, MD. Listing shows 22,233 miles shown, Automatic transmission, Black exterior. Current bid $100 on eBay.
What the photos show
- All sixteen sampled photos are exterior views, many of them repeats of the rear three-quarter, so the evidence is body and top only.
- The black paint looks deep and glossy with straight panels, so no paintwork spend is visible.
- The black soft top, shown raised throughout, looks taut and clean with a clear rear window, so no immediate top replacement is shown.
- The large rear wing and Turbo Twist wheels look clean and undamaged, so no body-kit or wheel spend is apparent.
- Can't judge the seats or interior — no interior photo appears in the sample, so leather condition and any retrim cost are unknown.
- Can't judge the dash — it isn't shown, so gauge and dash costs are unknown.
- Can't judge the engine bay — no engine photo is shown, so mechanical presentation is unproven.
- Can't judge the underside — no lift photo is shown, so underbody condition is unknown.
Money: the price in the data is $100, which is plainly a placeholder rather than a real ask — on condition alone the exterior and top look tidy, but interior, engine and underside are unseen, so get the real price and inspect those three areas.
