About this car
1998 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S Coupe listed on eBay in Marietta, GA. Listing shows 48,766 miles shown, 6 Speed Manual transmission, Red exterior. Asking price $259,979 on eBay.
What the photos show
- Red paint is bright and glossy in every showroom view, nose, mirrors and sunroof panel close-ups show no marks — no paint budget from these photos.
- Carrera 4S rear badge and tail trim look clean and bright — no rear trim budget from these photos.
- Silver Turbo-look wheels are clean with red calipers and drilled discs behind them — no wheel or brake cosmetic budget from these photos.
- Tan leather seats and door cards look clean, tight and lightly used in the close-ups — no retrim money needed.
- Dash and gauges are only glimpsed from the driver's seat view and look tidy — budget only a closer dash check, not a repair, from these photos.
- One sampled photo is a factory build/option sheet, not the car — it adds paperwork evidence, not condition, so read it separately before paying.
- No engine bay photo in the sample — can't judge the engine bay, hold back money until it is seen.
- No underside photos in the sample — can't judge the underside, hold back money for a lift inspection.
Money: At $259,979 the red paint, wheels and tan cabin need no cosmetic money in these photos, but with no engine bay or underside evidence, hold back money until both are inspected.
