About this car
1955 Volkswagen Beetle listed on eBay in Orlando, FL. Listing shows 79,977 miles shown, Manual transmission, Black exterior. Asking price $38,000 on eBay.
What the photos show
- Black paint is deep and glossy on every panel in the walk-around, doors and fenders line up straight — no paint or body budget from these photos.
- Chrome bumpers, side trim and hubcaps are bright and mirror-clean front and rear — no re-chrome money needed.
- Wide-whitewall tires show good tread and clean sidewalls all round — no tire spend from these photos.
- Red interior is smooth and uncreased front and rear, with clean red carpet and a tidy cream wheel and dash — no trim budget showing.
- Engine bay is complete and presentable with the fan housing, carb and coil in place, though not detailed to show standard — no obvious bay spend, but running condition can't be judged from a still.
- No underside photos in the sample — can't judge the pans or heater channels, hold back money for that inspection.
Money: the glossy paint, chrome, whitewalls and red interior support the $38,000 ask; the underside is the must-see item the photos don't show.
