About this car
1964 Volkswagen Beetle listed on eBay in Orlando, FL. Listing shows 1,964 miles shown, Manual transmission, Burgundy exterior. Asking price $26,000 on eBay.
What the photos show
- Deep red paint is glossy and even all round — nose, doors, roof and rear deck — panels straight — no paint budget from these photos.
- Chrome bumpers and trim are bright front and rear — no re-chrome money.
- Wide whitewall tires show tread on red-and-cream wheels with smooth hubcaps — no tire spend visible.
- Every exterior photo shows a fixed steel roof with a wood-slat luggage rack and a clean, taut headliner inside — no folding top is shown in the sample, so no top can be judged from these photos.
- Cream seats front and rear are smooth and clean, two-tone door cards tidy and the red dash glossy with clear gauges — no interior trim budget from these photos.
- Engine bay is clean and complete — black tinware, fresh-looking hoses, yellow coil and orange distributor cap all tidy — no engine detail spend shown.
- A dark drip mark shows on the showroom floor under the rear bumper in one rear shot — worth asking about and checking for an oil leak in person before paying.
- No underside photos in the sample — can't judge it, hold back money for that inspection.
Money: at $26,000 the paint, interior and engine bay look strong in the photos; the possible rear drip and the unseen underside are the must-check items.
