1966 Volkswagen Beetle listed on eBay in Pompano Beach, FL. Listing shows 87,773 miles shown, Manual 4-Speed transmission, Turquoise exterior. Asking price $19,900 on eBay.
What the photos show
- Turquoise paint is glossy and even over the hood, doors, roof and rear deck, panels straight all round — no paint budget from these photos.
- Chrome bumpers, trim and hubcaps are mirror-bright — no re-chrome money.
- Blackwall tires on black steels look sound with tread showing — no tire spend from these photos.
- Tan seats, front and rear, are clean and smooth with no splits or sagging, and the headliner is taut and unstained — no interior trim budget.
- The painted dash is glossy and complete with its Sapphire radio, ivory knobs and clean gauge faces — nothing to spend there.
- The engine bay is honest and a little grimy around the carb and fuel pump, with a newer blue coil and inline filter — budget a service and detail rather than any big work from what shows.
- No underside photos in the sample — can't judge it, hold back money for that inspection.
Money: at $19,900 the paint, chrome and interior all support the ask; the engine bay wants a service and the underside is the must-see item.
