About this car
1967 Volkswagen Beetle listed on eBay in Statesville, NC. Listing shows 77,463 miles shown, Manual transmission, Green exterior. Asking price $19,900 on eBay.
What the photos show
- Pale mint paint is glossy and even on every panel in the sample, doors and fenders line up straight — no paint budget from these photos.
- One flaw shows close up: a small bubbled patch on the front fender edge and faint rust specks at the door hinges and lower door edge — budget for a small local repair, not a respray.
- Chrome hubcaps, headlight rings and side trim are bright and clean, and both wood-slat roof and rear racks look new — no chrome or trim money needed.
- Black tires show deep tread all round on white-painted steel wheels — no tire spend from these photos.
- Tan interior only shows through the glass and in glimpses — seats look smooth but there is no close-up, so wear and cracking can't be judged.
- No engine bay photos in the sample — can't judge it, hold back money for that inspection.
- No underside photos in the sample — can't judge floors or heater channels, hold back money for that inspection.
Money: the glossy outside backs the $19,900 ask, but the interior, engine and underside are must-see items this all-exterior sample doesn't cover.
