About this car
1968 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible listed on eBay in Lebanon, TN. Listing shows 83,000 miles shown, Manual transmission. Current bid $10,500 on eBay.
What the photos show
- Bright red paint is deep and glossy across the hood, door and fenders in this single showroom shot, panels look straight — no paint budget from this photo.
- Chrome front bumper and trim are bright and clean — no re-chrome money showing.
- The top is folded down with its off-white fabric stacked openly behind the seats — the fabric looks clean in the fold, but its fit, rear window and condition when raised can't be judged.
- Black high-back front seats are visible with the top down and look smooth with red piping — rear seat and dash wear can't be judged from this angle.
- Silver steel wheels with chrome hubcaps are clean and blackwall tires show tread — no tire spend showing.
- No engine bay, rear view or underside photos at all — can't judge any of them, hold back money for that inspection.
Money: the single photo shows showroom-glossy red paint and bright chrome supporting the $10,500 ask, but the raised top, engine bay and underside are unseen must-see items.
