About this car
1958 Porsche 356A listed on Hemmings in Astoria, New York. Asking $89,500.
What the photos show
- Only one photo in the gallery, a side view of a grey coupe parked outside, so most of this car can't be judged from photos.
- The grey paint looks glossy and even in that shot with straight panels, so no repaint is suggested by this photo alone.
- Chrome bumpers and hubcaps look bright and clean, so no brightwork spend is visible here.
- Can't judge the seats or interior — no interior photo is shown, so trim work could still be needed.
- Can't judge the dash — it isn't shown, so gauge and dash costs are unknown.
- Can't judge the engine bay — no engine photo is shown, so mechanical presentation is unproven.
- Can't judge the underside — no lift photo is shown, and 356 floors are where the rust money goes.
Money: at $89,500 the single photo shows a glossy, straight coupe, but interior, engine and underside are all unseen, so the ask needs a full in-person inspection to stand up.
