About this car
1957 Volkswagen Beetle listed on Hemmings in Newport Beach, California. Asking price $24,800 on Hemmings.
What the photos show
- Metallic burgundy paint is glossy and even over the rear fenders and deck in this single rear three-quarter view, panels line up — no paint budget from this one photo.
- Chrome rear bumper and trim are bright with no pitting showing — no re-chrome money from this photo.
- The small oval rear window and its glass look clear; blue interior trim peeks through the side glass — seat wear and dash can't be judged, no interior photo in the sample.
- Wheels wear chrome hubcaps and tires show tread at the rear — front tires and wheels can't be judged from this rear view.
- No front view, engine bay or underside photos in the sample — can't judge them, hold back money for that inspection.
Money: at $24,800 the rear view is glossy and clean, but the front, interior, engine and underside are must-see items the single photo doesn't cover.
