What the photos show
- Deep blue paint is glossy and even on the hood, door and fenders in this single front three-quarter view — no paint budget from this photo alone.
- Chrome bumpers and headlight trim are bright and straight at this distance — no re-chrome money from this photo.
- Whitewall tires and body-color steel wheels with chrome caps look clean — no tire spend from this photo.
- Interior only shows light seats through the glass; wear, dash and carpets can't be judged — hold back money for an interior inspection.
- No engine bay photo in the sample — can't judge it, hold back money for that inspection.
- No underside photo in the sample — can't judge heater channels or floors, hold back money for that inspection.
Money: at $15,995 this one photo shows a glossy, tidy Beetle, but interior, engine and underside are all must-see before the money is safe.
