About this car
1969 280SL at Beverly Hills Car Club in Los Angeles, CA. Blue over beige interior, two tops, recently out of long-term storage, fuel-injected inline-six, floor-mounted shifter; described by dealer as a project car / restoration opportunity. The dealer publishes no price for this car, so the number has to come from a call. Harvested from the dealer's own website on Nov 2, 2026 — confirm availability at the source before travelling.
What the photos show
- blue paint is glossy and the chrome is bright with straight-looking panels, no paint money needed on top
- cream seats look clean and well kept, no retrim needed, and the odometer reads 97,881 miles
- both tops are with the car and the hardtop is shown fitted with matching paint, nothing to source there
- the beige soft top is dirty and stained when raised, budget a professional clean or a new top
- the hardtop's rear parcel trim is worn and scuffed, small trim money there
- door card edges are stained and grubby, that's a detailer's job, not a retrim
- engine bay is complete and honest with age showing on the hoses and reservoirs, nothing cosmetic needed to drive it
- the lift shot is the warning: the undercoat is peeling off the floors in sheets with surface rust showing along the pans and sills, budget underbody rust treatment before it turns structural
Money: no price is published; topside it looks like a nice driver, but the peeling, rusty underside is where the money goes, so price it with floor work in mind.
