- red paint is faded, patchy and dull all over, this needs a full respray, not a polish
- black soft top is torn, holed and partly collapsed at the rear, that is a complete new top bill
- chrome bumpers and grille survive and look straight, they may polish up, so replating may be avoidable
- cream seats are split, cracked and torn, the driver's seat especially, that is a full retrim
- dash wood is peeling and worn and the steering wheel centre is missing, budget a full interior wood and trim restoration
- floors and cabin look dirty and neglected in the interior shot, expect hidden work once the trim comes out
- can't judge the engine bay, it is not shown, so whether it runs stays completely open
- can't judge the underside, it is not shown, and on a W111 cabriolet that is where the biggest rust bills live
