1956 Mercedes-Benz 300Sc Cabriolet A

• silver paint looks glossy and presentable outside, no repaint is obviously needed and that is the strong part of this car
• chrome grille and bumpers are bright, no rechrome bill in sight
• red leather seats are heavily creased and cracked with worn piping, a full retrim is real money
• wood dash is dull and worn compared with the exterior, a refinish would cost money
• engine bay is dirty and heavily corroded with rusty, tarnished fittings, a major detail or rebuild-level clean-up is serious money
• black top is present and sits well, no immediate top replacement is obviously needed
• trunk trim is aged and its spare looks old, expect trunk and tyre spend
• can't judge the underside, no underside photos were viewed, and given the engine bay corrosion that check is essential before paying strong money

Money: no sold price is on file, so value is judged on visible condition only — pretty paint hides a corroded engine bay and worn leather, so value must leave room for very large mechanical and trim bills.
