What the photos show
- Dark grey paint looks glossy and straight, no repaint needed on what is shown, and the gallery is padded with the same photos in three sizes.
- Chrome and trim look bright, no re-chroming bill showing.
- Mesh-style wheels are clean and the Hankook tyre shown has good tread, no immediate tyre spend there.
- Black seats are only partly shown and look tidy, no retrim obvious from these shots.
- Dash looks clean, with an aftermarket wood-rim wheel fitted, price that in if you want original.
- Door card shown looks clean and complete, no door trim spend showing.
- Engine bay looks tidy and complete, with yellowed fluid tanks, no big clean-up bill showing.
- Underside is dirty and grimy around the diff and exhaust with light surface rust, budget a clean and check, not a rebuild on sight.
- Hardtop is fitted in every photo, and the soft top is not shown in the sampled photos, so I can't judge the soft top from these pictures.
Money: At $24,997 the car presents well top-side, so the money question is the soft top and the grimy underside — check both before calling it fairly priced.
