What the photos show
- Black paint is glossy across the showroom photos, but the dealer has photographed a scratch on the roof panel with a ruler held against it — budget for paint correction or a panel respray.
- The car sits on aftermarket black five-spoke wheels with drilled discs behind them, and a wrapped spare set of silver cross-spoke wheels is photographed with the car — check whether the spare set is included in the sale.
- Grey leather seats show light creasing only and the birdseye wood console trim looks complete — no interior budget beyond a clean, from these photos.
- The engine bay is presentable with its BMW cover in place, though the coolant reservoir is discoloured — budget for a cooling-system refresh as a precaution, as on any E31.
- The underbody photos show surface rust on the front subframe and exhaust — budget for underbody treatment.
- Fine swirl marks show in the roof close-ups under the lights — a machine polish is in this car's future, a small detailing spend.
