What the photos show
- Dark green paint is glossy and mirror-like on the bonnet, flanks and rear in the outdoor photos, panels lining up straight and the pop-up covers sitting flush — no paint or body budget from these photos.
- Front and rear lamp lenses are clear and bright with no fading visible — no lamp budget from these photos.
- Dark grey multi-spoke wheels are clean with no kerb damage visible and the tyres show good tread — no wheel or tyre budget from these photos.
- Light leather rear seats and the tan door card look clean and lightly used, with no tears or heavy bolster wear visible — budget for leather treatment, not a retrim from these photos.
- The lit gauge cluster is crisp and legible showing about 88,159 miles, with no warning-light story the photo can tell beyond that — no dash budget from these photos.
- The boot is clean and carpeted with a car cover stored in it, and the gallery includes an original 8-Series brochure and radio paperwork photo — nice provenance touches, so no boot or paperwork budget from these photos, though the engine bay is not shown and an E31 still needs a specialist mechanical check.
Money: a glossy, well-kept 840Ci in the photos — no cosmetic spend, just budget the specialist inspection every 8-Series needs.
