About this car
This 1983 300SD is offered on eBay by dynamic_motors in Largo, FL. The asking price is $6,995. The car is finished in Black over Gray, an automatic gearbox, power from a 3.0L Diesel I5 engine. The listing does not state a mileage. On a W126, check for rust around the rear window and in the battery tray, and test the vacuum-operated door locks and the climate controls.
What the photos show
- black paint looks glossy and straight, no repaint money needed on looks
- grey leather looks good with no splits showing, no reupholstery money needed
- diesel engine bay looks dusty but complete, detail money rather than missing-parts money
- the door VIN plate dates the car to early 1983, matching the listing year, so no identity worries from the photos
- three of the sixteen gallery photos would not download, so part of the gallery is unseen
- can't judge the underside - not shown in the viewed photos, so rust money is unknown
Money: at $6,995 the paint, leather and complete engine bay make this look fairly priced - the unseen underside is the risk to check before paying.
