About this car
1974 BMW 3.0 CS in Grand Rapids, Michigan, offered by Garage Kept Motors at $97,900. Finished in factory Inka Orange over black leather with a 5-speed manual and 17,484 miles shown; imported from Germany to Georgia in 2020.
What the photos show
- Bright orange-red paint is glossy and even across the nose, roof and both flanks in the outdoor photos, panels and chrome waist trim lining up straight — no paint or body budget from these photos.
- Chrome bumpers, kidney grille and window surrounds are bright with no pitting visible, and the glasshouse glass is clear all round — no chrome or glass budget from these photos.
- Polished multi-spoke wheels are clean with no kerb damage visible and the tyres look fresh — no wheel or tyre budget from these photos.
- Black leather seats look taut and uncreased in the door-open photo, with bright seat chrome and a clean, tidy door jamb and sill step — budget for leather treatment, not a retrim from these photos.
- The sampled photos include an engine-bay detail with its factory warning sticker crisp and surrounding paint tidy, but no full underside or inner-arch close-ups — E9s rust in the sills and inner wings, so budget for a lift inspection to confirm what these photos cannot show.
Money: presentation is strong everywhere the photos look — the only budget to hold back is for verifying the E9's hidden rust areas in person.
