About this car
1988 BMW 325i Convertible (E30) in Westport, Massachusetts, offered at $14,000. It has an automatic transmission, 135,043 miles, and a clean title.
What the photos show
- Beige paint looks flat rather than glossy in the outdoor photos, with swirl marks and small chips on the hood and a worn, peeling BMW badge — budget for paint correction and a badge, not a respray from these photos.
- The brown convertible top is up in the rear photo and looks taut with a clear rear window — no top replacement budget from these photos.
- Bottlecap alloy wheels look clean and the Michelin tyre in the rear photo shows good tread — no wheel or tyre budget from these photos.
- Tan leather sport seats show creasing and cracking, especially on the driver's bolsters, and the carpets look stained — budget for leather treatment and a deep clean, not a full retrim from these photos.
- Dash top looks uncracked in the cabin photos and the gauges are clean, with the odometer area legible — no dash budget from these photos.
- Trunk carpet looks clean and dry in the open-trunk photo, with parts boxes and a cover stored inside — no trunk budget from these photos.
- One sampled gallery photo is not this car at all — it shows a green vintage engine bay from another vehicle — so that frame tells you nothing and the BMW's own engine bay is not judged from these photos.
Money: An honest, driver-grade E30 convertible — paint correction, leather feed and a thorough clean are the spends the photos support, and the bay still needs real eyes.
