Brown with tan interior and offered with its Kardex. Just out of long-term Florida ownership where it's been in storage and off the road since 1985. It comes complete but it does have rust and is not currently running. The matching numbers engine case is off the car but comes with it. |

About this car
1964 Porsche 356C Coupe listed on eBay in Astoria, NY. Listing shows Brown exterior. Asking price $36,500 on eBay.
What the photos show
- The eight photos show a shell-grade car, rusted over its entire surface.
- There is effectively no paint left to judge — every panel is brown with surface rust, the hood is crumpled and misaligned, and the rear quarters are rusted through, so this starts with major metalwork.
- The driver's door hangs open and doesn't sit right, and the rear window is missing, so panel fit and glass are part of the bill.
- Chrome bumpers survive but are dull and rust-flecked, so brightwork needs full restoration or replacement.
- The cabin is gutted by rust: the dash covering is torn away, wiring hangs loose and the floor is rusted through beside the worn seats, so a complete retrim and floor replacement are coming.
- The engine is a solid block of corrosion — shroud, carburettors and ancillaries all heavily rusted — so treat the flat-four as a rebuild-or-replace item.
- Can't judge the underside from a lift — no such photo is shown — but a floor already holed from above says the structure needs expert assessment before any valuation.
Money: at $36,500 this is parts-and-numbers money for a 356C shell — the photos show total restoration in every area, so the ask only works if the identity and any salvageable parts are worth it to the buyer.
