1979 Volkswagen Super Beetle Convertible listed on Hemmings in Fenton, Missouri. Asking price $34,895 on Hemmings.
What the photos show
- Only one photo in the gallery: silver paint looks even and glossy on the front and side panels at this distance — no paint budget can be confirmed from a single shot.
- Chrome front bumper and hubcaps look bright in that one photo — re-chrome need can't be judged properly from one angle.
- The top is down with the black boot showing — the top fabric and rear window can't be judged at all.
- Interior can't be judged — it only shows through the windscreen in the single photo.
- No engine bay photos — can't judge it, hold back money for that inspection.
- No underside photos — can't judge it, hold back money for that inspection.
Money: the one photo shows a tidy silver convertible at $34,895, but top, interior, engine and underside are all must-see items before the ask can be backed.
