About this car
1974 Volkswagen Thing listed on Hemmings in Sylvania, Ohio. Asking price $22,999 on Hemmings.
What the photos show
- White paint with blue hood stripe and rocker panels is glossy and even down the driver's side in the single profile photo, doors straight — no paint budget from this one angle.
- The blue-and-white striped canopy top is up and looks taut and clean — no top replacement budget from this photo, though only the side shows.
- Uniroyal Tiger Paw tires show deep tread on polished aftermarket wheels — no tire spend.
- Black seats only peek out under the canopy — can't judge wear or the dash from this side shot.
- No front, rear, engine bay or underside photos in the gallery — can't judge any of them, hold back money for that inspection.
Money: at $22,999 the profile, canopy and tires look strong, but one side view is all the gallery offers — front, rear, interior and underside are must-see items.
