About this car
1974 Volkswagen Thing listed on Hemmings in Milford, Ohio. Asking price $29,500 on Hemmings.
What the photos show
- White paint with bright blue sills and nose trim looks even in this single side view, flat panels straight — no paint budget from this one photo, though the two-tone scheme needs an in-person check for originality of finish.
- The black top is up and looks taut with clear side windows in this view — no top replacement budget from this photo.
- Silver steel wheels are clean and the tires show tread — no tire spend visible.
- Interior can't be judged — top up and windows closed, nothing shows through the glass in this photo.
- No front, rear, engine bay or underside photos in the sample — can't judge them, hold back money for that inspection.
Money: at $29,500 the visible side, top and wheels look tidy, but interior, engine and underside are must-see items this single photo doesn't show.
